On June 10, Leon Luo, Sumi Li and Haide Wang attended a tea party at David Suzuki Foundation to celebrate the great success of the Burgeon Environmental Art Exhibition. As the main organizers of the Burgeon Exhibition, the three young artists reviewed the entire preparation process of the exhibition and shared their feelings working with young artists and volunteers. They also expressed their gratitude to the staff from Vancouver Foundation, MOSAIC and David Suzuki Foundation for their support.
Through selling the artworks at Burgeon Environmental Art Exhibition, all the young artists collected $2190 in total. As representatives of the participates, Leon, Sumi and Haidi presented a giant cheque of $2190 to David Suzuki Foundation on the tea party.

SYMBOL - Chinese Cultural Art Exhibition took place on Feb 9th and received great success! A total amount of $200 was donated to Kitsilano Neighbourhood House.
The young artists organized a Traditional Chinese Paper Cutting Workshop at West Point Grey Baptist Church.
With the experience and success in 2014, Young Artists in Action youth art project is back in action! In 2015, the young artists will come back with art exhibitions featuring three different themes: "Symbol", a Chinese Culture Exhibition, "Burgeon", an Environmental Art Exhibition, and "Spark", a group exhibition. As the proud winner of $1080 Vancouver Foundation 2015 Grant, Young Artists in Action is determined to hold exhibitions of larger scale and wider influence with support of professional art institutes and non-profit organizations.
